Uh-oh, looks like this faceted wanderer wandered a little too far from her home lair (grxndsxn, 437722), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here, or to the hub if you don't want another dragon in return. Please refrain from exalting her! Important note: Please only trade this dragon on travelling dragon threads, as opposed to places such as the Auction House.
━ STORY ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Zaleka came to the Clan of Wanderers looking for a place to call home, and while everyone was beyond friendly, she knew this wasn't her final destination, although she did think about returning to their little village once she'd seen more of the world. She would spend hours with the hunters, training herself to be strong so that when she was off on her own, she would be able to provide for herself, and when the time came, she would be able to provide for her own clan as well. Days passed before she deemed herself ready to see more of the world, and after assuring everyone that she would be alright on her own, she took flight. Zaleka traveled next to a clan living at the Fishspine Reef. Weary from her travels, this seemed a good place to stay and rest a while. During her stay with this clan, Zaleka met a guardian dragon named Stardust. She enjoyed his company, so much so that she settled down to raise a nest with him. She watched her hatchlings grow up into strong adults, and she was so very proud of them and the paths they chose for their lives. She was tempted to stay here with her mate in this place where their children were born, but as time passed she could feel the wanderlust growing within her once again. She regretfully bade farewell to her family and the friends she had made here and set off once again on her journey. Zaleka landed next in the Parched Canyonwalks where she met a rather kind clan, welcoming guests into their underground home. She made herself a temporary resting place within the Glowcap Inn, alongside other travelers and clansmen alike. It didn't take long for a young spiral to approach her and the pair became quick friends. Even more so, it seemed as before too long Zaleka had moved into the clans nesting cave to care for a clutch of two eggs. Having already been a parent once, she knew exactly how to care for the little ones and even helped to calm ElfrootMath's nerves over being a father. However, the wanderlust within her did not allow her to stay for long. Soon after her eggs hatched into young dragons, she found it time to bid another sad farewell. Zaleka took to the skies again, leaving her two newest kin in the slightly shaky, yet capable claws of their father and his supportive clan. A bit shaken from the choice to leave her kin in the claws of their father, Zaleka hadn't gone very far, having taken up a small rest spot near the Wild Sanctum. In contemplation over the friends and loved ones she'd made along the way, she hadn't even noticed that she'd been approached by another 'dragon'! Eivi, a nymph of the surrounding natural environment, had come to introduce Zaleka to her residing Spring Court located within the Gladeveins. It was there that she'd been welcomed with open arms and allowed to lounge with the strangest group of dragons-- they were much more like faeries! But she was treated kindly enough and the Fae King himself, Vernon, had even allowed her brief training his most talented of myrmidons, raising her level to nine! |
