Nearly from the moment she hatched, nocturne was tough and confident, looking towards future with courage. Her parents had very high expectations for Dúil. They expected that her potential will let her become Necromancer.
When she grew up, nocturne faced the trials. She was sure, that she will pass, however... she failed. No, she fought the infection, but this wasn't all she wanted. After she passed contagion to the rabbit, she couldn't take it back.
As Necroservus she swallowed her pride. She choose bone mask as her symbol and have been advising Necromancer. But deep down she was filled with jealousy.
She was disappointed in herself. There was no sadness; she was filled with irritation. She longed to prove to everyone she is powerful, until she got the desperate idea. Maybe she wasn't strong enough to become Necromancer, however, she was brave enought to ally with dark entity called Shade.
However, unlike Necromancer can carry dangerous plague and never let it take control over themself, she couldn't keep in check Shade's incursion. Her membranes and plague markings was getting dark as she was starting to lose control. Her determination disappeared, replaced with great sorrow.
She lost. Not only she failed to live up to the expectations, she has also lost her life.

When she became Necroservus, Necromancer let her choose mid-level familiar, because Necromancer heard a lot about Dúil's and her parents' ambitions and she felt sorry for her. And also she wanted to show merciful she is, about what she make many times sure her servant won't forget.

Hunted

After she had left Necromancer, she passed many clans' territories. Everywhere she was hunted for, until she came to the Olruks place. Matriarch's fascination for Shade turned out to be stronger than concern for Clan and her own life, so she has forbidden to kill nocturne. Dúil sometimes sees this lilac mirror watching her from far away like lich was something interesting, not just false expectations.
