"A dragon's pride is in his hoard."

I've lived by the ideal that materialistic wealth is nothing but false imagery. What I mean by that is that one's worth cannot be proven through fancy items alone. This was my belief for many generations until I realized what hoarding meant.

Some will try and persuade the masses into believing that it's image, or power. Those only make up the miniscule being of what it means to be a dragon. When you collect, when you hoard, there are memories ingrained into each item. The reason does not have to be exceptional, but even the simplest of items were collected for a reason.

Before a pageful of dragons even passed by, before the idea that Imperials were possible to outsiders, we guided the way, seeking a brighter source.

This is why I collect, this is why I hoard. To remember what once was, and to keep in mind what is now. May you, little Light Sprite, forever stand by my side from this point onward. Glory to the Gladekeeper, and to Lightweaver who birthed me into this world. And to you, my clanmates, to the familiars who passed through my company.

It is your being that makes up my own, giving me a drive to be greater.
Not for impressions, but for myself.
