Opulence is a rare marvel, and a spectacle of a dragon. Born from deep within the bowels of Sornieth, he clawed his way out from below and found his way to the surface. When he emereged, tired and thristy, upon reaching the riverside he saw himself glisten against the Sun's rays. He realised his scales and frame were built of gold, obsidian and opal.

From this, Opulence found himself travelling; from region to region, before finally finding himself in the Tangled Wood. Having fought off many, many foes attempting to mine the gold right from his scales, Sombre happened upon him during one of her outings. She took him in, offering a hospitality he'd never been familar with.
He spoke of his abilities to conjure woeful apparitations, something of a parlour trick turned actual innate magic. Sombre believed his worth could be found within her Lair, helping aid those who find their way into their territory. Opulence agreed, somewhat reluctantly at first, but become a largely influencial figure within the Council.
He's one of the more public members, and has large favour with the Adjudicators and civilians of the Lair.
