Born of rock and fire, the Volcanoes are so hot that no dragon outside the Fire or Earth Flight is able to approach them. They tend to keep to themselves to avoid trouble. They are quite calm and collected most of the time, rarely losing their temper or falling into a panic. But that doesn't mean they should be messed with. If a Volcano should become riled up, their temperature shoots up even higher, burning the very ground they walk on.

Cousins of the Volcanoes, Lava Wing dragons hold most of their heat in their wings. Any scale or feather that falls off can potentially start a raging fire. The Lava Wing Banescales are an ancient offshoot of the current Lava Wings. No dragon truly knows if the Banescales were the actual beginning of Lava Wings or not, but it is known that the Banescales are far more destructive. These Banescales can start a massive, destructive fire should they not keep their wings off the ground.
