Vyntolo

Like his mate, Vyntolo originally hails from Clan Golden Script. He’s one of many hatchlings who were exchanged to foster goodwill and family ties between the two, and though most chose to return home upon living a season in the Mines, Vyntolo had grown too attached to leave. He says it’s because he found his mate and didn’t want to leave her side, but his actions say otherwise. Having spent a great deal of time with Amane and her daughter, Miria, the young Nocturne had come to adopt a charge of his own... Amane herself.

Over time, Vyntolo’s slowly abandoned his excuse and fully embraced his adopted, Guardian nature. He always acts honorably, never turning tail while others are in danger nor using dirty tactics in a fight. While most dragons refuse to use the term “knight” to describe themselves, Vyntolo freely declares himself as Amane’s sworn knight, honor-bound to protect her and her charge.

For her part, Amane finds his behavior cute, subtly pushing him to focus on smaller threats to the clan as befits his small stature. After all, having the spirit of a Guardian doesn’t confer upon one the same strength as a Guardian. However, she didn’t stop Watcher from giving him a paper Guardian mask some of the hatchlings made, especially since he looked so happy when he first donned it.
