Tybal

The second founder of the clan and the representative of the guardian dragons, as well as a father and Opal's mate, Tybal has his claws full. Tybal after saving and getting to know his future mate, decided to take the survival senseless fae as his charge, creating the clan alongside her to give her and their, at the time, unknown and future family somewhere safe to call home within the Lightweaver's peaceful sight. However, he does help, his friend, Warglaive maintain some defense around the clan, after all, Tybal would rather be tore apart than see his newly founded clan in danger by the same beastclan that caused him and Opal's meeting, which led to where he stood today, a father, mate, guardian, and a member of a council that led a growing clan. Rule of thumb to find Tybal: Wherever Opal can be found, reading, hunting, sleeping, eating, studying, or talking, Tybal isn't far behind or right there by her side. Despite his quiet under the breath complaints about how danger prone she can be without realizing it, or how he has to butt into a conversation to keep her from being scammed or tricked, he truly adores and is amazed at how carefree and innocent Opal can be, despite all this responsibly she carries as a mother and a leader and after having a near death experience over a scroll about magic she'd been engrossed in. Tybal can often come across as harsh, cold, or even a misanthrope at first glance, with a harsh glare or singular word response and seeming distrust of most dragons and creatures around them. But, with the position he's willingly entered, as Opal's protector and mate, one of them has to be the cautious one. When he is able to be less strict and focused on keeping Opal safe, Tybal is a much more sociable and kind dragon as well as a doting father to his fae children. He regularly keeps tabs on his clan mates to see if they're alright or if there is something he can do to improve their safety.
