Qualm

• Qualm is a dragon of few words. In fact, to many, he is a dragon of no words at all. Instead preferring to communicate through gestures and sign language.
• Spends time in the nearby forest, with the wildlife
• Only those closest to him have heard his voice
• Has sometimes been mistaken for some sort of forest spirit by other dragons
• His way of talking can be frustrating or hard to understand at first, but once you get to know him it is quite easy

Qualm pauses for a moment, thinking about how to answer the question.
"Not many ask that question," He signs. ",Perhaps they think it is a difficult subject for me. It isn't. In my old clan, people were scared of me. I was told this was because of my voice, described as 'dark and dreadful'. My size as an imperial must not have helped. I did not want to scare people, so I decided to use my voice as little as possible, and started to use sign language. The incident in my old clan has made me very shy with my voice. Even those I am close with I do not talk to with my voice very often."
