"Thank you so much! These two are absolutely perfect! This has to be enough for Ember and Flamecaller. I owe you a great thanks! Munster grabbed his two eggs, planted a quick kiss on the Snapper, Cheshire's, forehead and then took off into the skies of the kingdom he once called his own.
"Well you see, Munster, Ember is out today with an allied clan. This will, unfortunately, have to wait until tomorrow." The Fire Force Clan's king, Fjord, was busy cleaning up the lava pit with which his wife normally meditated in. The usual lavafall that fell from the top of the volcano was nonexistent at that moment and the usual bustling halls were now dead silent. It was only Fjord and Munster. "Please, sir, I just want to ask Flamecaller if I may return. I really am not asking for much. Can't you ask her? Were you not blessed by Flamecaller as well? Is that not how you received your eyes?" The large Ridgeback pleaded at the claws of his much smaller and timid king. Munster looked back up and saw that the Mirror was starting to walk away, "sir?" Munster received a tail flick in response, and he smiled. The king has always been a quiet one. "Well... she certainly isn't MAD, but I don't think pleased is the right word. Claiming loyalty to another flight while being in another is a great offense. But... she is happy. So I would say that's a pretty good success." Fjord stepped out of the lava pool and quickly stopped the forge from spilling any more magma. He smiled and walked up to Munster and took the paper bag that covered his face off his head, "stop wearing this thing. You look ridiculous. And as usual, leave your dragonets here and we will take care of the rest. Have a safe journey back to your nest Munster." Fjord, being the much sweeter of the two monarchs, gave Munster a tight hug, before taking his soon to hatch eggs into a private chamber. Munster sighed, a weak smile on his face. At least he was closer to redemption... soon he would be back to his old position. And maybe one day... he could apologize to the dragon he wronged. But for now, the Ridgeback pulled off his mask and blasted fire down upon it, destroying one of the chains that held him back. ~~~ The young dragon opened her eyes and looked at the new world around her. After only just being born she was wrapped up in a plume of fire, a sign of Flamecaller's blessing. Her fire burns in her claws, making her a powerful dragon with the strength of the wildfire with which she was born in. Story by LPSvsS
