The Forbidden Sanctuary

Ruins of an ancient palace abandoned for dark and mysterious reasons. Located near the light territory, legend has it that those lands would be cursed by a dark evil.

A long time ago, this prosperous city was blessed by the gods and had some of the most powerful light mages. But their insatiable thirst for power lead a few of these mages to practice macabre ceremonies that grant them a forbidden power; blood magic. It brought on the city and their residents a murderous chaos and torment and ultimately causing their loss in a deeply tragic way. Its destruction was so complete that all traces of its history were completely erased. And to this day, there is still a gloomy aura weighing on these ruins to confirm the stories of adventurers who manage to leave these lands alive.

At least, those wicked mages disappeared with the destruction of the city… or are they really?
