❝ the night sky once ruled my imagination ┄┄┄┄┄ ❞ xxxxxbefore jophiel fell as a mortal and married terrance elwyn, she was simply known as sveihylde, serving odin as a chooser of the slain. valkyries have codes, however, and she was banished from asgard and had her title and immortality stripped from her for breaking said code. she fell, as her wings were quite literally torn from her back, and she landed in the grassy fields next to the small town of pendleton. but why? xxxxxbecause sveihylde dared to fornicate with a mortal man. for terrance odrezad elwyn. sveihylde threw away her immortality and place in valhalla. he was there, waiting for her when she fell, knowing that what fell from the sky on that fateful night was more than just a meteorite that had strayed from orbit. the two were married soon after, and nine months later, amelia skadis elwyn was born. xxxxxsveihylde easily abandoned her old identity when she began life anew as a mortal woman. she and terrance chose a new name for her; jophiel, an archangel from a foreign mythology. but right off the bat, sveihylde took terrance's name and was known as nothing else until after amelia was born, when she saw the rage and rejection her husband felt towards their daughter. after that, she took on the old norse name geira. sveihylde knew she had the option to run from terrance with their daughter but she felt that through his abuse, he was still redeemable. she felt as though somewhere deep in him, the man she fell in love with still existed. that the hate he displayed towards his new family was merely a facade. |
