The village of Revna has a rule - all are welcome to seek refuge here. For the wildlife guardian, Kasatka, this has proved to quite unfortunate. For right by her side resides a dangerous criminal - Fuyou, the head of illegal familiar trade in the region, his influence spreading even into all of Sornieth. Kasatka's trusted rival, Fuyou is known to have a twisted mind. His familiars suffer in cages, apart from his own - a rare Shining Cancer he affectionately calls Hook. Life is but a price tag for him. In the time not spent trading familiars and robbing Beastclans, his favourite thing to do is to have an occasional fling with a villager - showering them with gifts and then breaking their hearts.
