QUOTE OR SOMETHING

Origins - Oriana had always been a special dragon. Ever since childhood she was known to be deeply in-tune with the realm of spirits. She would talk to things that weren't there, concerning her parents and scaring other young dragons, so she often spent time alone, practicing her magic and her supernatural gifts. She progressed to a point where with great concentration, she could hear the voices of the gods, however faintly.

Having excelled at magic from a young age, she made it her main comfort, immersing herself in magical and occult tomes to distract herself from her social alienation. Despite being a Wind dragon, she was captivated by nature magic, and focused her studies around it and its intersections with wind magic. She could make plants sprout up from seed to flower with ease, covering her living area with twisting vines and bright exotic flowers, and then relax and settle down, whirling up a steady wind to carry a nearby cup of tea to her. As a single focused line of study, no matter how interesting, could not hold her entire attention, she also spent her time trying to master the use of potions, incantations, and occult spells, practicing daily to reach into the spirit realm and divine the whispers of the Gods that dwelled there.

Oriana grew bored with the limitations on her magic placed upon her by her wind clan, and sought to study nature magic in greater detail. She decided she must leave her clan in order to expand her knowledge. Following some tearful goodbyes, because although she was not understood there, she was loved by many, she packed up her belongings and plotted her course to the Viridian Labyrinth, intending to further her studies there. Although she did not plan to make the place her permanent home, once she arrived in the Labyrinth she knew she would never wish to leave, she couldn't help but fall in love with all the wonderful plants and creatures that resided there. Most if not all of the dragons she met in the labyrinth were kind and allowed her to rest with them a while, but all the clans she visited already had a mystic, and so she travelled onwards, looking for dragons in need of her supernatural gifts.

It had been many weeks of traveling and Oriana grew weary with trying to find a place to call home in the Gladekeeper's domain. She sat to rest beside a moss rich stream to meditate on her situation. The trickle of the running water, and the cool tickle of the gentle breeze made this a perfect spot to clear her mind and reach to the gods. Oriana reached out, and called for the Gladekeeper.

"Oh mother of the trees, I am ever grateful for your bountiful domain.” she lifts some moss, wrapping it in twine in the shape of a tree, and set it to flow down the river. “i give you this offering, and ask humbly for advice”. Her voice was calm and steady, deep with years of practise, and she sensed that she had completed the small ritual to a satisfactory degree.

Almost instantaneously, behind her closed eyes; a vision of the Gladekeeper, in her verdant and flowering glory appeared before her. “Oh young dragon of the winds, why do you call me so?” The Gladekeepers voice rang clear within her mind, like the first birdsong on a a winter’s morning, sharp but bright.

Oriana lowered her head, in deep respect and awe. "Great Gladekeeper, I call upon you as I wish to find a clan within your domain that is in need of me and my gifts. I know not who else to turn to."

The Gladeskeeper nodded softly, smiling, with such underlying care and love directed towards Oriana, that the wind dragon felt more safe and comfortable than she ever had before. "I know of a clan, the Holocene, that dwells within the Gladeveins. They are in need of one with gifts such as yours. Go there, and you shall be welcomed with open arms."

"I am grateful for your guidance, I shall travel there immediately. I am forever humbled by your compassion and wisdom.," As soon as Oriana responded, the Gladekeeper nodded serenely, and with one last warm smile, vanished from her mind in an instant.

Following this advice, Oriana visited many clans in the Gladeveins, asking them if they knew of the Holocene clan, and where to find them. Eventually, with the help of many kindly and knowledgeable clan elders, she found the clan she was looking for. The Gladekeeper had been correct, the mystic was welcomed there with open arms, and no expense was spared celebrating her arrival. She knew at once that she was home.

Personality - This is where you put the odd stuff about your dragon. Hobbies, traits, weird quirks, etc.

Mate - Let’s hear about your dragons mate! Or maybe their mates? If they have no mate(s) then feel free to brag about their friends! Or perhaps complain about their enemies?

Clan Role - What does your dragon do for a living? Are they a hoarder? A merchant? A magician maybe!
