Have you ever felt a deep anxiety? A sickening pit in your stomach that grows with every breath you dare take in? The feeling of the world bending and morphing under your feet as you try to stand? That, my friend, is the involuntary handiwork of Echo. As she is a monster of fear, confusion, and instability, that's something she simply.. does. Although, nobody knows that.
This effect on others was first documented when the half-blooded wildclaw was just a hatchling. She's the spawn of a demon and a mortal, you see - a combo that doesn't exactly produce the prettiest of creatures. Echo was, and is, destined to be a horror of the night that inflicts a slow spiral into madness upon others. But the thing is - she doesn't want to do that, which is entirely unheard of for a thing like her. She has immense power at the tip of her talons, and yet, she chooses to keep it walled in, under her thin masquerade of a regular identity. For what true reason this is, even her closest adversaries simply do not know.
So to most, she is exactly what she seems: normal. But to the wiser prying eye, she is a fiend who longs for peaceful solitude; with teeth too many, a stature ever so spindly, and a gaze just too lackluster.
