Biography
Amby was a seemingly perfect hatchling. His parents were overjoyed by his hatching and his sister, Bloodsurge hatching at the same time. Amby took a huge liking to Bloodsurge, who had taken a liking to lobelia, their older sister. They were inseparable siblings, and it seemed to him like it would always stay that way. Like lobelia, Amby was powerful. He was better at fighting then most hatchlings, and it was said that one day he might have been able to beat even Tristan, a skilled warrior. Amby would train all the time, making himself stronger so he could protect his sister, Bloodsurge when she needed it. But one fateful day, the clan was struggling to feed everyone , so they had to get rid of a few dragons, who would be sent off to most likely die in a fight with another flight. Bloodsurge was one of the ones chosen, as she was weaker and most likely wouldn't last much longer in the clan. Amby did everything in his power to prevent them from exalting Bloodsurge, but in the end, she was gone. Amby, angry at the clan for getting rid of his sister, ran away for a few days to mourn his sister. During this time, he met part of the shade, which talked him into going back and offered to make him even stronger than he was before. Amby accepted the offer, and became a shade-touched dragon after that. Lobelia, Ambys older sister, was an expert at healing grief, so when Amby had come back, they sent him to go get help from her. Lobelia had never seen a shade-touched dragon and couldn't help him. Eventually, Amby had grown tired of the clan treating him like a hatchling, and he made a plot with the help of the shade to destroy his clan and make a new one from the ashes. That night, he went out and targeted Braken first. Thinking that Braken was an easy target to take out, he almost killed her, only to be stopped by Lobelia, who wouldn't let Amby kill her mentor. He was turned in to Stonecloud, who banished him into an underground prison, making sure he could never escape it. Amby, filled with hatred, lurks there, waiting for the right moment for when he can break free and get revenge, plotting with the shade to destroy the clan once and for all.
