Sermersuaq was born on Cloudsong’s back, overlooking the floes of the Southern Icefield. She was one of the last children to be born during the Aucupari’s long trek to their new home, one of the last to be born with green eyes before the Aracanist’s magic suffused the group.

She likes to attribute it to her place of birth but, whatever the reason, Sermersuaq is a born flier and explorer. She spends most of her time seeking out the highest trees and cliffs just to jump from them and see how far she can glide. She’s also worked as a navigator for expeditions out into the wilderness, since she knows the most about the land around them.

She can be a bit of an airhead but has spent most of her life making up for her mother's poor attitude and abrasive mannerisms, crafting herself into the most endearing and cordial dragon she can be.
