______ A hatchling born with the Primal eyes of their element is always a treasured gift, especially so for Puddle because he was among his mother’s very first clutch of eggs. A friendly little hatchling, Puddle is often the first to greet new arrivals to the clan’s nursery and makes sure they feel welcome. When he senses nervousness in younger hatchlings he makes sure to spend more time with them, since some of the other youngsters - namely the energetic young Mirror, Smallclaw - can be a bit too boisterous for the most timid new arrivals.

______ Puddle’s eyes are stunning, but they do hinder him somewhat. The adults of the clan quickly came to realise that he must either be entirely blind or possessing of remarkably poor eyesight for the water obscuring his vision. He is therefore cared for very attentively. Despite his lack of keen eyesight he has shown himself to be a remarkably intuitive hatchling; some think he may prove himself to be a very skilled oracle one day.
