personality Petrichor is a dreamer. He always has his head stuck in the clouds and spends most of his time daydreaming. He dreams of music, art, colors, love, and everything wonderful. He is a dreamer and a lover. If he had his way, he would be the main love interest in a romantic novel. He's a bit spacey and absent minded. He forgets easily and for that reason, he keeps an intensive journal. He keeps many journals. He has a dream journal, a work journal, a personal journal, and an idea journal. Each journal is a thick, spiral bound, leather notebook with grid paper. They each have a different insignia embossed on the front and when one gets full, he has a new one made. backstory Petrichor was hatched on the shore of the Sea of a Thousand Currents. The area had been going through a dry season. No rain for far too long. The only source of water was sea, which couldn't be harvested for fear of disturbing wildlife. On the day Petrichor hatched, it rained. It didn't just sprinkle; it poured. Torrential downpour washed all prints from the beach and cleaned everything. Petrichor broke his egg and was assaulted with gallons of water running down his beak. When the rain cleared, the freshly hatched dragon and his brother were bundled up in their beach home, enjoying the smell of rain. A smell that is known as petrichor. Petrichor grew up in his little beach home, watching the clouds and the waves. He would sit in the sand and watch schools of fish go by. He loved it. He loved the quiet and the beauty and all the pleasant things in his life. job Petrichor is the professor of chemistry. Despite his spacey nature, he is a very good teacher. He has a deep love for chemistry and always does his best to instill that love in his students. He is easily distracted though. If someone asks a question even slightly off topic, Petrichor will go off on a tangent. He may teach chemistry, but his students learn so much about other topics as well. Petrichor will go off about life, love, destiny, a bird he saw on the way to work, how to groom feathers, the best way to cook food. He can talk about absolutely nothing for hours on end. But all his students enjoy his class and his spacey nature. |
