Biography

First of Razzy and SnowShadow's clutch, Tybalt was also the only one to stay- his other three siblings being called to the GladeKeeper.
As a hatchling it was discovered that he inherited his father's "peace of mind" ability, but it was altered by his mother's rare arcane eyes. the magics mixed together to birth a dragon with rare green eyes that could see the energies of ghosts- not just their forms, but their intent as well.
This is how he met "them", his somber spirit familiar. "Them" was lurking around one night, trying to interact with the dragons. "Them" was clearly weak, so Tybalt "nursed" Them back to "health". they've been inseparable since.

The Accidental Necromancer.
Tybalt, from a young age, knew he was something special. HAD something special. Ghosts, ghouls, spirits and even zombies communicated to him. He could see them and empower them. This was how he met Venus and would eventually meet Cinnamon. Though his spontaneous and accidental reanimations his magic would develop in ways that frightened the guardian. In response, the dragons of his clan sought out help- this came in the form of Vincent, a proper necromancer. the two did not see eye to eye; Vincent was sure Tybalt was doing this on purpose because of how powerful he was, but Tybalt knew he was just running on instincts and inspiration. "If you don't get it together you'll have an army of undead." the banescale warned. "And i'm not going to help you when they all turn against you." the guardian was frightened to say the least. Them, his familiar, tried to assure him that the banescale did not understand and was not a good teacher, but Them could not deny that his words held weight: Tybalt had indeed created two undead dragons and was currently attracting many creatures from the Ghostlight Ruins. Confused and untrusting of his only teacher, the guardian gathered himself up and approached Draco.
"I feel like i'm going to... break something." the necromancer admitted to the wise guardian. "I need to get better control of my magic."
Draco regarded him seriously for several moments before rising from his bed of leaves and gestured for the younger to follow him. The walk was long and silent, Draco gathering Venus -whom Vincent had described as being a phylactery- and Cinnamon -clearly a zombie-. When the pair asked what was going on all he could do was shrug. their leader also gathered their familiars -Them, Kujo, Cerry, and Solis- before finally walking towards the border of their clan.
"Wait." Venus began, stopping, dread in her voice. "Are you- are you kicking us out?" Tybalt paled as he turned to Draco. The fodder started to speak before Tybalt could.
"No." he said. "I am sending you three and your familiars on a mission." Draco raised his head and looked over everyone before him. "I believe you three and Vincent are part of your own Chapter. Your mission, and i hope you take it as seriously as you will one day take The Search, is to find your missing parts."
Tybalt and Venus knew what it meant to be part of a chapter- infact, until this moment Venus considered herself already part of a Chapter. They were clan Guardian Draco's... well, they were hard to describe. Reflections of the clan's story, individuals who connect in a unique way, dragons who tell a story together. Draco's mother and father are part of The First Chapter, while Venus is part of The Second Chapter. With this new information, it would suggest that Tybalt -the child of two First Chapter members- and Venus - a member of The Second Chapter- were the first two of this Third Chapter. It didn't make sense. As Draco began to leave Cinnamon turned slowly to follow him with her head. "What happens if we fail?" Draco stopped and turned to her.
"you will return home with new minds, new skills..." he paused and turned to Tybalt. "...and a better understanding of who you are."
The three guardians were left to their own devices then, allowed to think and mull their choices over. Eventually the three found themselves in The Ghostlight Ruins. Venus was frightened, her form changing but Tybalt was there to settle her. "I got you back." he assured her. Cinnamon and her undead hounds felt almost in their element- the three and their familiars weren't going to go hungry while they were there, and any creature that dared to attack them would be met with a losing battle. It would be weeks turning into months. the three dragons settled in place, spending their mornings hunting, exploring, thinking, and their nights resting and talking. It was clear Tybalt felt responsible for the two girls- he was the necromancer who... well, he didn't have a word for it anymore. He didn't raise them from the dead, he didn't summon them from the great beyond.
"You helped us." Cinnamon provided. "Maybe thats how we'll find our "missing parts" as Draco said."
"What if our missing parts is just... understanding who we are? like he said we would know if we failed." Venus suggested.
Another week and the three awaken in the middle of the night. Tybalt saw it better than the other two- a spirit fleeing from what looked like a pack of mirrors. wordlessly the three leapt into action. Cinnamon pounced, shielding the spirit and cutting off the pack. The leader hissed and they scrambled, most of them trying to climb the zombie and getting tackled by the Infestation and Wraith hounds. While Cinnamon and her hounds held them off, Tybalt and Venus attempted to speak with the spirit- it was frightened and not at all a dragon. It took some soothing and comfort from Venus to figure out it was the spirit of a cat. "Them" floated and watched the mirrors struggle with the enduring guardian, and realized just in time that most of the mirrors were like Cinnamon- they were zombies. Returning to Tybalt, the somber spirit alerted him that there may be another necromancer here.
The necromancer in question laughed, having overheard Them's warning. He stepped forward, revealing himself as a fea riding on one of the mirrors.
"Your minions are very powerful, boy." the fea patted their mirror mount. "But unless you hand over the cat i'll show you real power."
Tybalt wanted to correct this person- these weren't' his minions, they were clan mates and friends- but he didn't get the time. one of the mirrors got past Cinnamon and launched itself at Venus. With a roar the former Otherworldly Aura met them head-on. The fea squeaked in surprise as the zombie turned to dust. the fea flinched and turned to where Cinnamon stood as another mirror was dusted. That was when Tybalt remembered something- something Vincent told him once. "Necromancy is only evil if the souls are unwilling". This fea had unwilling souls... searching in himself, grasping for some instinct that would rise to the occasion just like with Venus and Cinnamon, he found his answer.
"Smash the zombies!" he cried. "Free the souls!"
The fea dragon went wide eyed as the large guardian they was taunting barreled down on them. soon the army was gone and all that stood was the three guardians and a cat spirit, as the fea fled and escaped.
It was a year later when clan Guardian Draco saw their accidental necromancer and his friends again. Venus was welcomed by her Chapter, Marina climbing all over the guardian. Tybalt and Cinnamon was embraced by Razzy and SnowShadow. Draco arrived and the three smiled at each other before addressing their clan's leader.
"I'm afraid we have a friend with us you might not like." Tybalt said with confidence.
"I'm sure who ever you bought will be..." Draco trailed off as a golem with green necrotic energy pranced forward.
the entire clan watched with laughter as their fonder backed away, jumped from side to side, and eventually flew away from the very playful cat like Aragonite Haunt.
"Did you find your missing parts?" Razzy had asked her son. He looked up at her and nodded.
"Less "missing parts" and just a understanding of what the parts were." He felt proud of his seemingly profound statement. His mother chuckled.
"And what were the parts?" She asked.
"Understanding, Confidence, Friendship..." he turned to Vincent when he arrived, the banescale nodding at him. "...and acceptance i think."
Tybalt had a better understanding of his powers, knew how to draw out his instincts, and felt more comfortable with his powers. He is still clumsy and shy, but he is no longer fearful. For Now.
