Coral

Coral was found by Winford as a malnourished hatchling. She shivered and cried all the way home but due to Shey's careful attention she improved quickly. Shey realised pretty quickly that something was wrong since Coral seemed unusually clumsy and could not catch prey unless it was put right in front of her. She was also incredibly jumpy when other dragons spoke to her which at first Shey put down to her troubled start in life, but it soon became apparent to her that Coral was actually blind.

After this was established, the clan started to announce their presence to Coral and she quickly became much less nervous. They also built a 'prey pen' for her where she could learn to hunt without worrying about the prey escaping. (This was kept once she had grown up, although it is rarely used for its original purpose any more) They also found Cara to be her guide and the two quickly became inseperable.

During adolescence it became clear that Coral had a gift for magic and with Cara's help she read all the books on magic she could find. Now if any of the clan have magic-related problems she is their first port of call.
