Biography
Miss Black is a powerfully seductive and cunning witch who is always willing to help others, for a little gold. She secretly curses her victims and when they come crawling to her for help (they always do, the poor fools), she offers to lift their "unfortunate" curse.
One day a young dragon named Boris came to Miss Black seeking her help, he hadn't been able to sleep for weeks. "How unfortunate" Miss Black cooed "It seems someone has placed a Restless Night spell on you." She promised she could help, and all it would cost was a few hundred pieces of gold. Young Boris agreed, and Miss Black performed an overly-exaggerated Curse Lifting.
Boris was overjoyed that his curse was dispelled, and found he could finally sleep! But Miss Black kept demanding more and more gold from him, claiming she needed it to maintain the lifting of his insufferable insomnia. "My dear young Boris", she said, "you don't understand the cost of magic. It requires sacrifices and expensive ingredients. I'm doing you a favor by using my magic to help you."
The young dragon grew suspicious of Miss Black and decided to take matters into his own hands. Snooping around her kitchen while she was gathering herbs, he discovered a journal she kept called "The Foolish and the Cursed". Upon reading through the pages he realized Miss Black was not only responsible for his sleepless nights, but that she was using his, and other's, desperation to pay for lifting curses she herself had placed.
Boris was furious and waited for Miss Black to return. When she entered her kitchen Boris barked "YOU! You cursed me! You're wicked!" Miss Black just laughed and said, "You should have known better than to come sniffing around my home. You should have left well enough alone, paid the price and enjoyed some much needed rest, but no... and now you get what you deserve."
Boris lashed out and growled "I'll warn them all! I'll tell everyone to stay far away from the likes of you!" But it was too late. With a small gesture of her claws Miss Black turned the foolish boy into her newest pet, a rather nasty looking wolf.
When others come calling, seeking her help, Boris snarls and barks, and growls and snaps, trying to warn them away.
"Never mind him" Miss Black says "He just hasn't had enough sleep".
