Amparo is incredibly self-interested, but is at least equally forthright about it. Amparo is concerned with Amparo, little more. It is a particularly noteworthy occassion for others to enter her thoughts for any considerable length of time. He can be called selfish, if you want, but Amparo absolutely would not care. Glad in bronze and grey, her insectoid armour underlines her connection to nature in a way that speaks to Amparo. Vicious, strong, intimidating - all of which is further highlighted by the well-worn cleaver at her side.

Born in the Wastelands, her relationship with her elemental heritage is not especially simple. Although he was not particularly ostercised for the Gladekeeper's blessings that ran through his veins, he was never especially encouraged to utilise his talents. He found decent success in the fields, tending the crops, though it was never her great passion nor something she took any pleasure in. Her protests mostly fell on deaf ears, as they struggled with channeling rot due to the circumtances of her birth which her elders felt left her limited in the ways they could work with the clan.

Amparo felt overwhelmingly stifled by her clan and her parting was swift and without fanfare once he reached adulthood. Travelling from the shade of the Seedscar, their connection with their natural born magic waining as he took to the Undercroft, they relished in being able to fend for themselves with little more than claw and blade. The Wastelands were no threat to Amparo, or at least his inflate sense of self-worth would tell him so.

Though her green eyes still mark her as being touched by Gladekeeper, the Mother's ancient enemy, Amparo's devotion to her work is unshakeable. By understanding disease, a tool of the Plaguebringer - by becoming a vector of Her enduring pestilience - Amparo continues to better herself. She sees the strength in the determined flowers that push through the cracks in the arid soil in the Wasteland and she sees the beauty in toxins brewing in flowers that are as viciously deadly as they are beautiful.

As a fully fledged necromancer, Amparo's unwillingness to abandon her nature magic - weakened though it was, in the bustling city of rot - and their trying personality left her solitary for her early years. A necromancer without an enterouge is not unusual, but it harmed his desires to continue to better himself, finding it difficult to balance his duties with time for self-improvement.

Grast welcomed them in and, seeing that Grast shared the blessings of different gods to their Plaguemother, Amparo opted to offer his services to the Pyretic Contagion. Although they do not exactly stand in great agreement with each other, Amparo's selfish tendencies still unshaken, Grast offers Amparo understanding where many do not. Although Amparo is not interesting in politics, he is physically imposing enough to give clout to Grast's requests and is a competent hunter who is happy to work alone.
