Nox was an assassin for a long time, trained by a shady dragon from the Sunbeam Ruins that they never learned the name. After getting rich after so many years working non-stop (aka killing everyone that was worth some gold) they decided to retire from that life and settle, throwing themselves in one of their few passions, learning things for the sake of knowing... and as such they became a sort of schollar themselves.
They lived in the Tourmaline Archives for some years, still travelling through Sonieth from time to time tough, this time simply for the fun of it and seeking new hidden tomes and legends and anything interesting that they heard of... but still they found something was missing in their lives, until stumbling mostly by accident into the cozy and peaceful town of Patera and liking the place after staying for a few days, so they remained.
Today Nox teach whoever seeks them anything and everything really, from stealth, killing methods, to astronomy, cooking tips, long forgotten history, there's no limit to their knowledge, really. One of their favorite pasttimes tough is just choose a day of the week and laze around and have fun in the town's pub with their friends.
Despite it's rough beginning, life is finally good.
