Biography
When Millenium had first found a clan to call home, they resided in the blustering territories of the Windswept Plateau. Though a lightning dragon by birth and far more accustomed to the raging weather patterns of Sornieth than other dragons, Millenium had still struggled to adapt to the wild winds and tumultuous breezes that swept throughout his clan. This wind had a nature of its own, one that he could not fully understand and one that refused to be understood even by some wind born dragons. Millenium flew often in its embrace, yearning to know its secrets, where it got its wild nature, and if it would even be tamed by dragon or beast. It didn’t take an intelligent creature to quickly learn the answer to that latter question.
After several years of living in that land, where hatchlings might tumble across the plains if they didn’t root themselves, the clan moved across Sornieth. Their cavern in the Plateau was simply too small to accommodate their swiftly growing clan, and after much discussion, their leaders recognized that it was time to move. It was not an arduous journey, but certainly exhausting. Along the way Millenium felt the energy of the wind fall away, becoming tempered as calm as they traveled through the Ashfall Wastes. He quickly missed the riotous winds of the Plateau, but when the clan found a cavern large enough to hold their new clan, and room enough to expand as well. As the hatchlings bounded around the new cave, their peals of laughter echoing in the high ceilings, Millenium stepped outside.
The sky was dark with rain, the way he remembered in his childhood. That sky, the dark mass that many dragons found foreboding and dangerous, Millenium looked at with misty eyes. He had not thought of what it would feel like to be home again. He had spent only a small portion of his life here, among the sweet smell of ozone and crisped trees, and hadn’t known how much he had missed it. The wind here was crisp and dangerous, alight with an energy only lightning could produce. He saw the shafts of light shoot towards the ground, like talons into prey, and heard the rumbling thunder boom across the lands. His very scales tingled with anticipation of flying in that storm, and his wings unfurled without a moment's hesitation. Millenium was in the air in moments, his eyes bright and his heart fluttering as he entered the storm. The Tempest Spire. Home, at last.
