OLD LORE??
- Viverrin's boyfriend.
- Was named Inugami at birth, after the spirit dogs of far-away land folklore.
- Basically, he has a strong/scary name; though he's not very threatening himself.
- His mother was a Kitsune??
- He's the offspring of a dragon and a Kitsune, somehow make this work.
- Like, he has will-o-wisp powers, but other than that he's like... Pretty dragon-ish.
- Probably because draconic beings and Kitsunes are so drasticaly different from one another... So them having an offspring together probs wouldn't be possible?
- OMG wait tho
- What if the couple (his parents) made an exchange with Yuko, the Dimensional Witch???
- They got their wish to have a child together, but as a drawback, they had to disappear from this child's life forever.
- So they have a kid, but won't be able to raise them or even be known to them.
- Despite this, they decided to go for it, simply wishing for their child to exist and be happy. Knowing they created something out of their love was enough (yet painful) for them.
- Considering his mother is a Kitsune, and from a place where there are Yokai, she named their child after the Inugami, or spirit dogs.
- She wanted to give her child a strong name, to help them face a life without their parents.
- Also, maybe as a faint hope that they would link their name to the folklore, and maybe go to see them?
- Or something idk.
- Probably just so that Inugami (the Fae) would have a hint of who his parents were?
- At least his mom, omg.
- Just a way to give him roots into something, into some folklore, or maybe for a sense of identity later on...
