Obsessed by lightning and static electricity in particular, Surge spends her time studying, tinkering, and experimenting. He began by experimenting with the effects of electricity on ice, and traveled to this clan to expand his elemental tests; she finds the arcane energy and technology of the Isles fascinating, and is intent on learning more. Whenever he bounds along the streets of the market, in search of materials, onlookers give bemused looks to the sight of an Imperial with a mane sticking out in all directions-- a jagged, sparking mess topped by a little blue chipskink.
Although he is very open to collaboration, others find her energy difficult to work with. Whether inside a laboratory environment or not, the only conversation topic Surge is interested in is the application of electricity and other elements, like in circuitry or hover technology. Upon their first meet, she immediately became close friends with the Sandsurge, Electrophorus (#91800312), and often employs her help in inventions. He has tried to similarly recruit the clanβs elder mage, Dolasir, to the cause of electricity research, but has had little success.
