Unlike his fellow overseer's, Cadence has a bit more of an ego. While he would never jeopardize the security of the precious Third Floor or Basement levels, Cade has been known to throw his weight around. This typically makes it hard for most dragons to work within the vicinity of the mirror, and often those who were given a nice job on the third floor end up asking for their previous job amongst precious colleagues.
Only the most hard-head, steal-tongued, or no nonsense of dragons have managed to stick around Cadence's region of the Facility.
