Plutonium

Apparently, plutonium can glow blue under the right circumstances. Plutonium the dragon, however, does not glow, but he is a scheming young fellow.

He is incredibly intelligent. He tinkers, he studies, and he practices alchemy. He really loves his work, and has several unfinished and failed projects littered around his room.

"Ah, nothing better than the smell of chemicals and experiments in the morning!"

One day, after a worryingly long time without leaving his room, his beloved Mith assistant, Igor, went to check up on him. He was crumpled on the ground, surrounded by his own tattered clothes. The light from outside his dim room made him stir, as he slowly and unsteadily got to his feet.

Muttering something about a failed experiment, it became apparent - his appearance had changed and he had grown, drastically. Fur became feathers, and most alarmingly of all - he developed a second head.

Needless to say, it would take a while for Plutonium to recover.
