M I Y A S I
Caretaker of the Dead | Hardened | Stoic | Heart of Gold

Sister: Tsukuyomi

Dragons drop dead in Clan Mavenlark around the clock, never waiting for a convenient time to go cold. In a merchant's city as large as it, death is an uncomfortable inevitable, one that few like to discuss - Miyasi included, and she's the one that has to fetch their bodies. In fact, Miyasi has barely spoken to anyone since her arrival at Clan Mavenlark moons ago, even her own sister. The two originally came to Mavenlark as travelers, and by the time Tsukuyomi left, they were strangers. Once sharing a common dream of seeing their brother again, travel taught the two how little they had in relation to one another. Bickering replaced any sense of comradery the two siblings had left, and granted Tsukuyomi the opportunity to suddenly abandon Mavenlark without warning her sister, stranding her there in the city. But like death, growing distance is a natural part of life, and so Miyasi accepted her sister's departure with ease. She joined up with the Mavenlark guard as their undertaker, and took on the cold permissions of death: preparing bodies, writing families, scattering imperial parts to prevent the facilitation of emperors. Fellow guard members are afraid of her chilly demeanor, but anyone looking close enough can tell one simple truth about this dragon - she's deeply grieving her sister's loss.

She has recently taken leave of Clan Mavenlark once again, without a word as to what changed. Is she looking for her sister? For herself? You decide.

Travel Log:

10/15/2020;

I have had enough of my time in Clan Mavenlark. I must take to the road once more.

...

I do not know what I am expecting to happen. It is as if part of me expects to see her at the clan entrance waiting for me, as if nothing ever happened between us. What a foolish fantasy. But one I find myself entertaining, nonetheless.

when I left the clan I did not know what would happen I came to a small clan and decided to gather recorces talk and leave the clan was a little to small for my liking

I came across a clan in the Shifting Expanse. The dragons were kind enough, but I had to leave eventually... at least they gave me supplies.

I found myself trapped in a blizzard high in the Mountains of the Icewarden's realm. I would have frozen to death, but I was rescued by a small clan, and I stayed for many months until the winds died down enough for me to leave. I don't think I like the snow anymore.

It seemed like it was time for me to return home after a while. I unfortunately lost my items in a storm, but was given this on my brief return:
Green Birdskull Headdress

My next stop was within the Southern Icefields. A place called the Frozen Bazaar, which reminded me of home with the bustling marketplace and dragons venturing out to fight the freezing Beastclans for supplies or sales. I settled here for a little while when a snowstorm rolled in, a kind trio of bright Wildclaws who seemed a little out of place granting me shelter within their home. The trio apparently were part of the primary defense for the Frozen Bazaar, an older female and two younger dragons. While staying I did need to earn my keep, which unfortunately led to my original job from back home. It wasn't as jarring as I'd thought it would be, but I found myself half expecting to see my sister when I would return to the house. As the storm blew over, I bid farewells and left to my next location.

Today I found myself in a port town in the Windswept Plateau. I met a small flock of skydancers, who were stopping by on their way home. A brief discussion with one revealed that their clan’s members were quite well-traveled. Perhaps I was getting my hopes up, but I wondered if any of them knew my sister.

It was a foolish hope—but I found myself accompanying them as they flew through the Crescendo anyway. Their home is secluded, and surprisingly peaceful for being in the eye of an eternal hurricane. I can tell the dragons here come from all parts of Sornieth and all walks of life.

Asking around turned up no sign of my sister… it was wrong of me to get my hopes up. Still, I have decided to stick around a little longer, as the dragons here have been quite welcoming to me. Besides… perhaps it is time I take a break.

Uh-oh, looks like this courageous Skydancer wandered a little too far from her home lair (KingVulture, 437722), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. You can also take her to the hub if you don't want another dragon in return, or you can adopt her permanently. Please try to avoid exalting her!

Miyasi travels with her sister Tsukuyomi. Keeping them together is not necessary, but they'd prefer to stay together as long as they can!
