Origins - Onyx was born in the Shifting Expanse to a small clan of nomadic Ridgebacks. These nomads were brutal and weathered by the desert, causing Onyx, the only whelp at the time, to have a lonely and stressful whelphood. Eventually, her clan broke apart after a disagreement and Onyx fled to the Carrion Canyon with her parents. However, her parents found her too troublesome to take care of and chased her off. Onyx left the Shifting Wastes and ended up coming across a member of a clan led by a dragon named Jaru in the Ashfall Waste who saved her from falling into a pit of lava. The dragon, Greni, offered to take her to Jaru's clan, promising wide, rolling fields and kind, welcoming dragons. Onyx took his offer and joined the ranks of Jaru's clan in the Windswept Plateau. She lived there for many years and was well-off, climbing the ranks of the clan until she become Jaru's personal guard. The more she was around Jaru, though, the more she realized how manipulative and weak he really was, but she stayed. This was the only welcoming 'family' she'd ever been a part of. But one day a dragon named Akoya joined the clan. He was Jaru's favorite—his prodigy, replacing a dragon named Radio, who was demoted to Onyx's rank. Eventually Akoya and Radio fought, leaving Onyx to break them up, and they all realized they had to leave Jaru's clan if they ever wanted to be happy. They did one day and found Camay's clan, which they joined. They're all much happier here than they ever were in Jaru's clan.
Personality - Onyx is the strong, silent type. She is a supporter, not a leader, and sticks close by Akoya. She just wants to be wanted and useful, and that is what she finds in the Chusquea Clan. She's incredibly loyal and would die for her found family and will fiercely protect them. Relationships - Onyx is close with Radio and Akoya, especially Akoya, and feels a strong kinship to the rest of the Second Circle. She does not have a mate yet. Clan Role - Onyx is a Protector of the Chusquea clan. INVENTORY
