Faeries of the Seelie Court are generally benevolent towards dragons; they are more inclined to communicate with dragons and return kindness with gifts and favours than their Unseelie cousins. Fey magic is unique from the elemental magics of Sornieth; the Fair Folk's powers preside more over the minds of mortals than any other type of magic does.
Elkian is the firstborn son of a Seelie Queen and her King Consort. His father was a mortal, but Elkian is undoubtedly one of the Fair Folk: faerie blood runs strong and golden in his veins.
Elkian, like his mother the Seelie Queen, is fascinated by mortals. However, his fascination manifests in a more sinister way. The payment he demands in return for his gifts and blessings, or as recompense for slights against him, more often than not involves a period of indebted servitude by the offending dragon.
Aloof towards mortals, he is skilled at manipulation, able to bend all but the most strong-minded dragons to his will. Ancients and Primals are repulsed by his otherwordly magics.
