Background:
Eligos has no magical capabilities. In fact, his aptitude for magic is so low that he's invisible to it. Magic of any kind has no use on him, including attacks and healing spells. He exploits this endlessly, using it to escape authorities, steal, trespass, and kill. In this day and age, magic is such a huge part of society that in some situations, he's virtually unstoppable.
Eligos chuckled from the rooftop as he watched the sentry mages casting out searching spells. They'd have to do better than that. One more scan around his surroundings and he confirmed he was alone. Without a second thought, he pried open the glass windowpane in the roof. It creaked loudly as it opened, and he froze. Another few minutes of silence and he slipped inside.
The room was large, and ornate like a cathedral. His target was set in the middle, situated on a platform held up by two statues one of a Guardian and one of a Gaoler. The bubble of arcane energy crackled. It was famed as impenetrable, created by the Arcanist himself. In the center, a perfect jewel. It too, crackled with power. Without hesitating, Eligos dropped from the ceiling onto the sphere, and passed right through it. He grabbed the jewel as he fell, yanking out of it's hovering place. It was easily as large as his head. He landed on the platform, triumphant as the shield cracked around him, and to his dismay began to fall. It shattered like glass. Once the echoing crash faded, he sighed. Getting away might be more difficult than he'd hoped.
Eligos didn't escape with the jewel. He was physically captured, and as punishment, his scales and skin were slowly scraped off until his bones were visible. He was saved by Amitix, who'd uncovered the dungeon he'd been left in while she was looking for high-energy sites. Upon realizing magic had no effect on him she realized that he was unsacrificable and so she brought him to Hecate.
