Her mother called her ugly; she didn't want Pessima. An ugly Albino Behemoth, her mother was sure that she wasn't going to survive past the age of 8. However, Pessima's mother settled on raising Pessima up until she decided she was ready to be on her own. After leaving her mother, she came across a small pack of Behemoths that happily accepted her as a packmate. From here, she would learn how to hunt and survive on her own alongside more of her own kind. She has made some new friends, one of which being named Iris. She developed a small amount of feelings for this Behemoth, keeping her bond with this male close. However, she has been going against her packs rules, spending time with Destrians (humans). After months of getting closer and closer to these Destrians, they followed her to her pack one night, striking them in the middle of the night. Chaos reigned, several lives being lost as the pack was attacked. In return, Iris was upset with Pessima. Once the ambush was over, Iris did not hesitate to take Pessimas' back leg, leaving her with an insecurity and making her vulnerable for the rest of her life. After losing her pack and friends all in one day, she decided it'd be best if she turned down all other Behemoths she'd meet, in fear the same fate would happen to them. Years passed and she had grown tired of struggling with her life - she figured, 'I'm sure those Bja'Dyr wouldn't mind finishing what Iris started,' and limped her way to Til Bani Kaesia, a tribe of Bja'Dyr. They were seen as heartless, careless creatures with the intent to wipe all lives out of their path. However, upon stumbling across Til Bani Kaesia, members immediately began to praise her for her beauty; she was a female albino, and although they were not the same species, albinos were highly praised and worshiped by any Bja'Dyr. Confused by the sudden and immediate attention, she was almost tempted to leave, but something about these Bja'Dyr interested her. She decided to stick around to learn more about them, refusing to leave the territory in fear she would repeat her past. Brynjar, however, did not like her company, but the rest of the tribe nagged him into letting her stay. He agreed. As the years went by, she built unique bonds with each individual member, opening herself like a book to these new friends. She grew closer and closer to the tribe as well as Brynjar, earning herself the rank of Viscountess. She finally felt at home. Loved and cared for. A family to call her own. |
