Mate: None
Vune is- for lack of a better word- a cold-hearted *****. Foul-mouthed and foul-tempered, it's no wonder that none of her den-mates particularly like her (the fact that she views Pearlcatchers as the superior species certainly doesn't help make her more likable). The only reason she hasn't been exiled from the lair is because she is one of the top fighters within it (along with Ronwen and Quartz). Though for some reason, she is friendly with some non-Pearlcatchers (Samir and Synali among a select others). While she won't say why, other dragons have their suspicions: Samir struck some sort of deal with her and that she's somehow manipulating Synali.
After Hypos arrived in Norwal, Vune decided to dip her claws into the world of dark magic. With the help of Deadnettle, she is rapidly improving. Her reason for suddenly taking an interest in the forbidden magics is unclear.
