Elouan Raebold, healer of the Morning Rose Flight's royal guard. Quiet and unassuming, and physically not that impressive, but has quite the temper and loathes being treated specially.

Elouan had narrowly escaped the clutches of death with his elder sister Klytie, now known as Cassandra the Bolt of Judgement, after the revival of the dreaded Emperor Luminax, who had devoured his home and family. After arriving in the clan that took them in from the horror they had experienced and Cassandra swore vengeance on Luminax, he joined the Royal Guard with her in her attempts to become stronger. Given he was always weaker between the two and actual combat was out of the question, he wanted to find a way to make himself useful to these combatants and took up healing lessons from the local Clergy, to which his sister took a shine to and joined after changing her name. Shortly before Cassandra had joined the Clergy, she and Elouan had a temporary falling out, as Elouan had grown to loathe being babied by her. He wanted to be his own dragon, not just a charge to be guarded at all times, and as such have his own uses. Tirelessly, Elouan had studied the Faith as well as proper combat in order to earn his place within the Royal Guard. It was an uphill battle, given his short fuse and several dragons around him scrutinizing him and skeptical of his abilities, but at long last, Elouan had become a certified member of the Royal Guard, using his healing abilities to keep the team stitched together. In addition, Elouan was, like many Coatls, good with placating situations, though he tried his best to do so through words and not material objects unless absolutely necessary. Considering how heated tensions can get in the Guard no thanks to a certain orange Wildclaw, his love for peace and way with words was much appreciated, even if it wasn't always a guarantee again, a certain orange Wildclaw would often egg him on to a boiling point, but no one's perfect. On top of that, Elouan is also quite the tactician, not anywhere in Firebird's league, but worthy of being a potential successor at least with enough training, and quite the shark at board games, no matter what. Elouan is also incredibly lucky, his peers have noticed. In little ways, things would always work out for the Coatl, narrowly dodging an injury, an enemy accidentally hitting their accomplice instead of him, and he always manages to catch the best fish. Raisa usually outdoes Elouan in card games, though, granted rumor has it that she doesn't play entirely by the rules unlike the straightforward and kindhearted Elouan.
Elouan and Cassandra have since made up, and are very close, but aside from looks, one would never guess that a vigilante crusader such as Cassandra and a gentle (albeit not always), lucky dragon like Elouan are siblings.
Regarding Luminax, Elouan does not have the same dreams as Cassandra to slay the beast, he feels that a mortal dragon killing it is out of the question, but he does hope to one day see it fall and to witness every moment of it.
