Khonsu

Born was he, on a hot summer day. The small hatchling was as blind as the sun, his eyes completely white like the pale moon.


Mortal parents he was birthed by. His powers were strong and impossible to control without the help of the gods.


Given up to the gods to care for as one of their own, Khonsu gained his name. And with their help, his powers were soon controlled.


Khonsu became the new god of the sun but longed to linger amongst the mortals as he once had. So he escaped, leaving the palace and stayed with the mortals against all the mentioned odds.


Once he returned he was greeted with a warm welcome. Though something was missing in Khonsu's heart. The gods tried to fill it in to no avail.


Khonsu was asked what was wrong and he told that he had met a mortal woman. The two had fallen in love and his beloved love was waiting for him where they first met.


The gods knew that nothing they could do or provide could fill the void in the young man's heart. He was sent down after some discussion but was sent away with a gift from each god and goddess.


Given to him by Valentina was an amber colored gem that hid his true appearance from other mortals. This was fastened to his neck with a lacey gold chain.


Mila gifted him a matching bracelet to his necklace. This is told to help him communicate with the other gods and goddesses.


The gift from Ombre was a set of beautiful tail rings which were enchanted to help him see better and enhance his other senses.


The two banescales, Neo and Nym, gifted him a brilliant yellow Psywurm to help guide him and his love. These creatures were limited to royals and Gods.


Spirit gave him no physical gift and instead gave him wisdom through advice and words of comfort. "Traverse your path, Khonsu. Know that we are by your side. If you ever meet a magician, tell them about your powers."


Last of all was Posiden. The sea king gave Khonsu a ring that made him into an aquatic dragon whenever he entered water.


Khonsu then departed for the second time and met up with his love. Siri was her name, a beautiful goddess in his eyes. Though he was blind, magic helped him see. Khonsu continued to live out his life with his mate and the two are forever immortal. The couple's love for each other never falters.
