The wind howled outside the cave. Stormwing shivered. "w-why did i do this" she asked herself. Stormwing flew up out of the cave and was immediately thrown around by the wind. Stormwing turned and dove into the freezing water. She swam down and curled up in a ball. She missed the bright warm waters of her home. “ I can’t go back.” She told herself. Stormwing had been chosen to be the Storm dragons StarSeer. She had watched her sister become corrupted by Violet because of this role. There was no way Stormwing could go back home.


Days later while Stormwing was stumbling through a maze of spikes she met another dragon just as lost as she was. “Hello. I’m Stormwing.” She said. The other dragon smiled. “I’m Hurricane.” Stormwing thought that name sounded familiar. “I’m trying to find the StormWing palace. I have been mated to Queen Storm.”
Hurricane said smiling. “You know where that is?” Stormwing opened her mouth planning to say no but instead she heard herself say “ Yes I know where it is.” “Great!” Hurricane said happily. “Well I guess I’m going home” stormwing muttered.


Stormwing arrived at the palace with hurricane on a very windy day. “HURRICANE!” The Queen jumped off her throne and threw her arms around him. “I thought you forgot!” “No! I would never! I got lost. Stormwing here helped me find my way.” Hurricane said. “Stormwing. I was so worried! I thought you got captured by Violet! Thank goodness you’re back!” Stormwing sighed. “ sorry. I ran off. I just don’t want to end up like starsearcher.”stormwing said. “Oh! Don’t worry! I will keep you safe! Forever!” Storm cried. “ But now we have a wedding to plan!”


“We thank you all for coming to the marriage of Hurricane and Storm” the wedding dragon said. “Yes thank you!” Storm said happily. “ There is one more thing to announce! Stormwing has chosen to be our starseer!”
Stormwing walked up to Storm. She had thought about it for many days and she had agreed! “Stormwing do you pledge to serve our clan and keep its memories safe for the remainder of your life?” “I will” stormwing pledged. “ then I give you the position of StarSeer. You will now be known as StormSearcher!”
StormSearcher smiled. Deep in her heart she knew this is what she was born to do.
