Arantha

Arantha was the first member of Atlas’s clan. When she woke up in the cluttered clinic she wasn’t expecting the tiny Veilspun to be the one to greet her. Arantha had been a Sentries, guarding the grounds of a prison deep in a snowy mountain. She was one of many but there had been an accident and a prisoner had escaped on her watch, leaving her heavily injured. She had never expected kindness from her fellow Gaolers due to her failure but she didn’t expect to be thrown out when they found her injured in the cold cell. She would have died if she had not wandered as far as she did because who knows what would have happened if Atlas had never found her. She had never meant to stay, she understood other dragons well due to her free time being dedicated to the study of other species so she understood that her tiny savior was not in the best place being all alone. So she stayed for him (not because of how nice it was to not have to be on edge every second of the day). Time does silly things to a dragon and somehow she had gotten attached to Atlas. So she said she would stay, she told him of how he was in need of some help and how he wasn’t going to get her to leave (she had been so nervous when she had said it, she was expecting him to throw her out, to see her failure, to know how useless she was), but all he did was nod his little head and let her help. Now that the clan has grown she has made it her duty to protect them and care for them the same way she cares for Atlas. She is second in command and is well respected by her peers, she only wishes to not fail this time and let her clan know how weak she had been before, she would be stronger for them.
