LaCatrina was responsible for gathering the materials for the altares de muertos or ofrendas for the Day of the Dead remembrance ceremonies for thDirt holiday "Dios de los Muertos." She needed skulls and lots of them. She hasked Mortimer if he would be willing to share his skull collection but he was adamant that he needed it for his own altar. While digging in the deepest storerooms of those dragons long gone or passed on, she found the following collection:
