Falling in love sometimes is hard, and it's even harder when the odds are all stacked up against you. Nobody but Tristana (meaning follower of false idols) knows this better. Some say the only reason Tristana fell for Samael is because they were both gaolers, but Tristana denys such claims.

Samael, is a tricky dragon. Tristana fell for his manipulation and will kill and die for her true love. His words seemed so logical, and everything he said just made sense. Samael put doubts in Tristana's head and made her believe Xerath was a fraud. Tristana wants nothing more than to spread Samael's word but Samael says he will leave her and go to a better place if she dares to try anything, and if Samael left her life, she would no longer have purpose.

Tristana has been told to say nothing and move on with life in Xerium and usual because despite the false god, there is bountiful food and security. However, Tristana doesn't know everything about her love, and tries to learn more everyday.
