but inside they churn, and outside they churn

with flickers of fire and gasses, bursts of rage

burning and killing all that gets too close


★ but, zodiac understands this cosmic law-

as she was born by the twists of light,

the dashes and marks connecting these stars

light years and light years away, but still connected-

and through this, zodiac was born
★ the stars rest, in the open reaches of space

and zodiac is tired of this timeless law

this law in which the stars, they stay put

in their orbit, in their reaches they may swirl,

but they don’t seek for one another


★ they are content with the birth of zodiac,

connecting them through dashes and marks

but zodiac, she is not content with herself

and so, she left, destroying this timeless law

and disconnecting the stars
