Going into the Unknown

Sands is the leader of the group; he took over for his mother once she retired. As a youngster, he grew up surrounded by those who patrolled the dunes for a living. Some treated its history with respect, documenting all finds and sending them off to the capital, while others chose to loot and destroy the ancient structures that peppered the desert. With his mother's guiding hand and his love for the desert and its history, Sands made a promise to protect his home and its rich past. Once he became the group's leader, he decided that conservation needed to become the group's new focus as many of the ruins he had wandered as a child wer falling into disrepair. On one of these outings, he ran into a mysterious figure stranded in the desert. This woman would change his life for the better.
