Biography

Talfryn, the Ice-Bound Baron
A regal, arrogant dragon with an unrivaled mastery over ice. His body is permanently covered in a thin, solid sheen of ice that protects him from would-be aggressors, and alongside his kingly way of carrying himself, has earned him the nickname of Ice-Bound Baron. He is capable of freezing any foe in their track just by looking at them, transforming them into frozen statues to their cores. He commands respect and, even when spoken to, often doesn't deign to respond to his speaker. Although he is difficult to get along with, his impressive abilities are no less needed to defend the lair and as such he has become a permanent member of the clan.

Mutations: None. Powerful ice magic may make some think otherwise.

Talfryn: Sometime playing off a dragons simple elegance is the best bet. And man, is this guy pretty handsome. Ice triples can get really bland, really fast. I actually didn't notice this was a triple at first, and coming from me, that is a huge compliment. I actually thought the winter wind was an accent rather than just apparel at first, which also is a compliment, because large-in-part I don't usually like the scenic apparel. The character idea is interesting, I am curious to see where you are going to take him.

In contrast to Arcana, I would stay well away from Talfryn - he does not look like someone I should mess with. XXX Ice dragons are surprisingly tricky to dress well, so the results can often go too far in the opposite direction and be quite bland instead. Talfryn steers clear of such a trap. Despite his comparatively simple outfit, he exudes a chilling sort of regality befitting of what his lore describes. A very cool dragon indeed!
