The spiral weaves through the sky almost nonsensically seemingly tracing shapes that aren't even there. Then they pause, scowling at an invisible pattern.
You call up to them.
They turn around, electric green eyes shining intelligently.
You ask them what they're doing in this open field so close to the observatory.
They stare blankly.
You start to ask again when their mouth opens.
And static pours out.
