Tremor was born in the dusty plains of Dragonhome, traveling with his birth clan over the dusty landscape. Earth dragons tell the best stories, and Tremor had heard the story of his race, the Imperials, cast out of the loving eye of the Lightweaver in favour of the Pearlcatchers. As a youth, his mind was enamored with the idea of bringing Imperials back to glory in the eyes of their creator, and he vowed to do anything to get his way.

It was a long journey for him to get to the Sunbeam Ruins, but when he felt the sun warming his scales, he knew this was what he had to do. Assembling a group of like-minded Imperials, they began to fight for glory in the name of the Lightweaver. They quickly gained a reputation, and enjoyed waves upon waves of success. Tremor's mercenary group was the place to be for Imperials in the Sunbeam Ruins. Things were going well.

Or so it seemed. Tremor was not content. His warriors were forgetting their purpose, their need to be welcomed under the rays of the Lightweaver. They were becoming careless, incompetent. He began to steal eggs from nests to hatch and exalt to her, to gain her attention. He was not one to wait. Slowly, this evolved into exalting the very clan members he had trained, and using physical force to smack down any foolish dragon who dared defy him. Soon, he stood amongst the bones of those he had once called friends and realised that the Lightweaver would never take him back.

Tremor roamed the land for years, enraged. His seething anger was palpable, and so he was not taken in by any clan. Relentless, ruthless and fearsome, any Pearlcatcher who stood before him would not be standing for long. They were the ones chosen by the Lightweaver. They were supposedly the better species. He had seen enough. They were runts, weaklings, incompetent fools. They were nothing compared to him. So why were they the beloved children? All of his thoughts lead him to one outcome. Vengeance.

Over time, he became emaciated by the wastelands, and was in no condition to wage war against the Lightweaver by himself. He decided he would have to be smart about it, to infiltrate a clan and pull the strings. He suppressed his violent tendencies and headed for the Windswept Plateau. He had heard of the careless, trusting attitude of Wind dragons, the ideal candidates. Finding a clan suitable for him was hard, as Imperials were hard to cater for. Eventually, he got word of a clan with an Imperial majority in the Reedcleft Ascent, Clan ruka. It was lead by a young spiral who welcomed whoever needed a home. Perfect. Snaffling an egg from a Pearlcatcher nest on the way, he flew toward his future.

Tremor, despite what Ruka has to say about it, is the real leader of clan ruka. Vessel, his Pearlcatcher, is his servant, having taken his pearl in order to control him. Vessel is a secret from the clan, and is not allowed to leave Tremor's well guarded quarters. Tremor has coupled a few times, but has sold all his children for profit, bar one, Cloudrunner. Cloudrunner was spared when he showed a huge amount of cunning as a child, daring to defy his father's orders. One day, Tremor hopes his son will carry on the war he has waged, but he's not done quite yet. Not yet.
