Notes:
-Diplomatic Entity reigning from The Pack of Sköll of the Wispwillow Grove in The Tangled Wood.
-The Pack of Sköll are dragons that are loyal worshippers of Sköll (the wolf who chases after the sun in Norse mythology*). As a revered deity in the eyes of the pack, he is almost always referred to as "Devourer of the Sun" or "Great Wolf of Eternal Darkness." As a Shadow clan that is comforted by the night and thrives off of the darkness of the forest they dwell in, they wish to see the day in which they can freely roam the lands without the harsh light of the sun shining upon them. Thus, as they believe that Sköll will bring about eternal darkness by devouring the sun, the pack worships him for his "worthy" endeavor. (This is also where he gets his official titles from within the pack.) Moreover, since Sköll is known as a wolf by legend, the entire pack wear wolf hide capes and undergo a sacred ritual to align themselves spiritually with Sköll, in which case they believe that their spirits—upon their death—will be reborn as wolves that will join Sköll in his chase for the sun within the heavens.

-Nyx is considered to be a High Priestess of Sköll. She is one of the five priests/priestesses that are able to do the ritual for members and/or initiates of the pack. While not necessarily the leader, she is a highly respected figure that holds a fair amount of sway in how things are done within The Pack of Sköll. Nyx, in particular, has been trusted with being a diplomat in Aeolia because she is one of the few members within the pack who has an immunity to the harsh light of the sun. In the case of Nyx, this is because she was fed a special alchemically-made toxin by her parents throughout her childhood in the hopes that she would have an immunity to the sun as an adult. Despite the risks of the experiment and the suffering that she had to go through, the toxin was eventually proven as having worked, and thus she became a High Priestess of Sköll with the special ability of enduring intense sunlight. She is also adept at alchemy for this reason, as her parents hoped that she would be able to create a better form of the toxin for the entire pack. So far, the experiments have been unsuccessful and not a single patient has yet to be able to resist the harmful side effects of the toxin; those who have not died from it have become horribly deformed or have lost their sanity.

-It is customary for those who wish to be in the pack to hunt and kill a wolf of their choosing to bring to the ritual, as the wolf that they present to the High Priests/Priestesses will be the wolf that their spirit will be combined with and therefore reborn as. Upon the completion of the ritual, the new member will skin the wolf and make a cape from its hide to wear for the duration of their life. While it's not necessary for these capes to always be worn, it is generally expected for members to wear it in public because it symbolizes that they are a true member of the pack; only children or new initiates who have yet to do the ritual are expected to not have capes. There are those within the pack who choose to always wear it, however, as they believe that if the cape is destroyed, it will sever the spiritual connection between the wearer and the wolf and leave the wearer spiritless. Whether or not this belief is true is commonly debated amongst the members of the clan; Nyx does not practice this belief.

-Nyx's familiar, Nightshade (Tar-trooper Slarg), was made by accident after a mishap occurred in a concoction that Nyx was brewing.

-The Diplomatic Entities are a group of royal representatives that come from the different elemental regions within Sornieth. The chosen few who make up this group were invited by Coleus to represent their clans or kingdoms in Aeolia for the purpose of discussing advantageous political negotiations, including, but not limited to, trade agreements, military aid, and/or cultural integration. While some have chosen to forfeit their positions as a leader to be a permanent ambassador for their clan within Aeolia, others have made a temporary encampment within the land with full intentions to leave once negotiations are no longer fruitful. Coleus personally attends all meetings with at least one member from his Rose Court to serve as another respected voice for the clan. Currently, the Diplomatic Entities that have set up in Aeolia are Zora (Water), Eaniracate (Fire), Nanuk (Ice), and Nyx (Shadow).
