The Living Statue

You come to a less populated area of the event, with few passing by a stoic object atop a low podium...

Upon closer inspection you see that it resembles a dragon, one of white piebald skin and buttercup yellow veined cracks throughout. Slowing to a stop, you hesitantly reach out to run your hand along its bare upper neck with a perplexed expression at how real it feels...while doing so, you hear a soft muffled giggle and feel a slight tremble beneath your fingertips. Retracting your fingers quickly, you do a double take at the statue's expression, what was that...? Surely a trick of the light, or perhaps your eyes are seeing things? No way did this statue just wink at you with..a grin?? While you stop and think to yourself how odd it is for a statue outfitted in golden apparel to be in a circus with no signs around as to explain why, it suddenly animates to life with a hearty bellowing "Huzzaaaah!!!", appropriately scaring the daylights out of you! With an uproarious laugh coupled with a snort, the dragon apologizes for the fright, adding a witty comment on the color of your face resembling a likeliness to his own.
