Biography

Borb |
Like his partner Game, Borb is a small feathery Nocturne. The feathers cover most of his body, barring the wings, underbelly, and the areas around the face and claws that are covered in thick scales. He also lacks the neck flap that are found on the breed. Feeling into the feathers reveals there are still some scales, as well as notches and bumps underneath.
Whereas Game is the one to coax players into participating in whatever game they desire, Borb is the one in charge of bringing players in. This is where their abilities come into play. Borb can shapeshift into a large bird like Game, using this state to traverse the park for visitors. He then uses the patterns on his wings to draw in dragons of his choosing. Unlike most hypnotic abilities in the Club, this one is very hard to resist. It is important to note that like Game, Borb possesses the ability to sway luck in their favor, so it is very unwise to challenge him to a game of any kind under a bet. If you do it for fun, you may win. If you do it for profit, you will lose. Borb works with Game at the amusement park found on the island IsleOfFun protects. There, the two run and monitor carnival games with various others employed by them. Borb is in charge of ensuring dragons, both members of the Club and outsiders, play the games, only using his abilities to fulfill a quota. Borb is more formal and mature than Game, but still appears cheerful and fun when approaching others. Favorite food is cotton candy. The blue kind. |

Extra Notes:
The most judgmental sentient board game to ever exist
Galehaut wrote:
1. Players must be wearing the color and clothing of the side they are representing. The board will not recognize a game starting properly if this rule is not followed.
2. There are no pieces to the game besides the board. Do not add anything to the game.
3. Do not place anything on the board while a game is in duration.
4. Do not touch the board if you are not playing or have any blood relations to the players.
5. The goal of the game is to fully transform your bird (henceforth referred to as “the picture”) into your likeness before your opponent does. When both finish, they will be judged on accuracy as well as speed of completion.
6. A normal turn consists of a player choosing a square from the opposite player’s perimeter. That color square determines which areas of the picture you may manipulate on that turn. Only one major manipulation may be done to the picture per turn (that being defined as a change to the structure of the bird that exceeds a size limit set by the board upon beginning the game).
7. White or blank tiles allow you to choose any color not specified by existing color tiles. They may also change color depending on choices of the players.
8. Stalemates can be called if the game time exceeds more than a day. The board will reset naturally at this time as well. It does not appreciate people wasting its time.
9. Starting images are liable to change, as the board may become fickle when exposed to certain players or environments. It is not always a bird.
10. The center of the board is needlessly complex, and anyone touching it is liable to forfeit the current and any future games by offending the board. Take the game’s existence as a gift from the board and do not squander it.
11. Poor art effort can be seen as failure to the board, and f you do not meet that board’s standard upon your announcement of completion it will revert your picture to the beginning image and you will lose by default.
12. Store the board in a quiet place when not being appeased. It does not enjoy noise that is not praising it.
13. The board is a responsibility. It will bring you joy, but if slighted will grow tired of your games and begin to become more sinister. If the board is slighted, do not leave it near anything important. Do not leave it alone. Call your neighbor and pass the board to them, thereby placating the board and giving it a new chance.
14. Have fun, and remember: the board knows best.
