“I’ve always been like this” He explained to the little skydancer. “My frost magic fighting against me, trying to consume me from the outside and trap me, I was born with too much ice, and it cost me”
The little skydancer shuttered, looking down at his frost covered wings.
“But you” Kakir started again. “You chose this, you knew there were risks, and you went through with it anyway, why?”
The skydancer continued looking down, not meeting his gaze or answering his question. He studied the frost that crept up the small dragons wings and talons, and the sheen of fresh ice creeping up their feathers already.
He sighed. “Fire” he said. “Lots of fire, always stay warm, and stay active, it can’t crystallize if you keep moving.”
The little dragon glanced up at him and nodded, still not saying anything, a look of shame and guilt written on his face.
“I will be in my lair, come and ask me questions if you ever need.”
And with that, he left.
