Biography
Voirrey
Nicknames: Fortune boy • Fortune teller ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮ "Well, actually..." ♫ (Oliver Buckland) - (Backroom Labyrinth) ♫ ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ |
Voirrey is very self-absorbed and opinionated. Due to how accurately he can guess the personality of other dragons, he believes that everything else he says is true. He’s also quick to correct anyone who says anything incorrect about archeology or the history of the artifacts he finds, starting his explanations with the dreaded “Actually…” He also doesn’t like fortune tellers, calling them idiotic and illogical fantasies that are inaccurate and a waste of one’s money and time. When someone points out that he himself is, in a way, a fortune teller, Voirrey disregards their words. -Builder

When he was little, Voirrey lived in the Southern Icefields with his very loving and overprotective parents, who almost never wanted him to leave their side. Though Voirrey had great respect for his parents, he had always wished they had let him explore the world. Voirrey had discovered his passion for archeology when he would visit the Snowdrift Library and read about ancient artifacts from all the different territories of their lands. He knew ever since he first set eyes upon the pages of these books that he was meant to be an archeologist, and even figured out he had a special talent involving it. Sometimes, he would show the library books to children and adults throughout the neighborhood and have them pick a relic that stood out to them. Depending on which one they picked, Voirrey would use the information to either guess their personality traits or predict who they will become in the future. To their surprise, Voirrey always seemed to guess the personality traits correctly, even with people he had never met before. It seemed he had a real connection with artifacts.
As soon as he was old enough, Voirrey decided to travel the world so he could finally fulfill his childhood dreams of finding ancient relics of his own. During his many years of traveling, he found hundreds of artifacts throughout all the territories of the land. The last location on his list to travel to was the Ashfall Waste. After a few days of exploring the area, he stumbled across the Sunny Side Fair. Here, he decided to carry on doing what he did with the townsfolk in his neighborhood, except a little differently. He lays out anywhere from 5 to 10 artifacts on his stand and then asks dragons to pick one, and as before, he makes a guess about the dragon’s characteristics or future self. He also offers for the dragons to purchase the artifact as well. However, Voirrey often feels irritated when he comes across a dragon with a similar field of expertise to his own, as he likes to feel like what he does is special and specific to him and him alone.
